....daydreaming when I should be cleaning or washing something {
not that I do that constantly!}, I was remembering my trip to Germany, Sweden and Denmark with my sister Jeanne, her husband Roger and their daughter Cassie. That was back in 2004. Has it been that long?? These are some memories of mine.

On our way to Germany. Yikes, is that another plane? I hope they don't hit us!

One of my favorite things to see, windmills!

I loved the tree lined roads in Germany. So much that Roger
stopped the car so I could get a better picture. {
after a little whining...} Roger was our tour guide, and my sister's husband. He put up with a lot on this trip. Oops. Thanks Roger :)

Well, I tried. But they were so cute! Really!

And these swans were so cute too!! I picked up a feather
for a keepsake. I know.

We also went up to the Baltic Sea. It was cold and windy that day, but I did
stick my finger in the sea, just to say I did.

The buildings are really beautiful.

We went to a Swedish cemetery. They are so much more quaint than American cemeteries.

So cute, for a cemetery, that is.

In Denmark we went to a Lutheran church and saw the original Christus statue
that our Christus statue is from

and the other statues were pretty neat.

We found the Temple in Copenhagen exactly one week after it was dedicated.
Too bad we missed it by a week!

This is where we went to church the next day, up a couple of floors.
It was REALLY fun singing the hymns in Danish!

And these "town" signs were some of my favorite. Aren't they cute?

We did a lot of driving, but Cassie and I spent much of it playing cards in the back seat. Well, that's just a smidgen of our trip. We had so much fun. I didn't even tell you about all the
food we ate and ate and all the laughing we did. Poor Roger.
